Joy & the Symphony is a professional ensemble built around the commanding voice of Joy Norwood—a gifted contralto whose rich, emotional performances captivate audiences. Surrounded by accomplished musicians from across Texas, Joy brings classical repertoire, contemporary reimaginings, and original compositions to life with passion and precision.

Under the musical direction of Manny Gonzales (the renowned band director credited with cultivating Lizzo), every performance is crafted with artistry and intention. Whether it’s an intimate 10-piece chamber ensemble or a full 30-piece symphony, Joy & the Symphony delivers music that moves you.
